The Lessor provides the aircraft along with full flight crew — including flight deck, flight attendants, and technician — covering their salaries (mostly excluding daily allowances / per-diems).
The Lessee is responsible for fuel, landing, handling, parking and storage fees, crew HOTAC including meals and transportation, visa and other fees, as well as overflight and navigation charges.
The lease of the basic aircraft without any added services — no insurance, crew, or maintenance involvement from the Lessor. Usually preferred by leasing companies and financial institutions.
A dry lease requires the Lessee to place the aircraft on their own AOC with aircraft registration.
